"For years, I've been deeply involved in various community projects, each bringing something new to our local life and surroundings.

From building a playpark through Project Play Park to developing and running Bute Tiddlers, a beloved indoor play club for young children, I've aimed to create welcoming, family-friendly spaces.

You may have spotted me at ButeFest, where I've managed the children's fun in the character costumes and spun poi for the local festival crowd while teaching the kids how to spin too, or seen my name on the board of the Famous Rothesay Pavilion project as a trustee.

My community involvement includes organizing markets, stalls, events, and engaging with community art projects—all inspired by a love for bringing people together and contributing to our vibrant community and working together with some remarkable people who have community at their heart"
