All About ME!

Hello, I’m Nicola Jones, a multimedia artist, storyteller, and creator of vibrant worlds drawn from life, experience, and imagination. My journey in art has taken me from the city streets of Glasgow, where I earned my degree in Bsc Multimedia and first ventured into the world of community and student leadership, to the peaceful shores of the Isle of Bute, which I now call home.

I find inspiration in everything—from urban landscapes to the quiet beauty of nature. My work is a blend of digital art, photography, and hands-on projects, each piece reflecting a personal story or a moment in time. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working on community initiatives, both as an artist and organizer, always striving to bring people together through creativity and connection.

I worked at Argyll College on Bute for 10 years, teaching creativity, multimedia and arts.  Where we won a national teaching award for innovation for our creative film and work with 'Crew Phoenix', you can find our films on line.

My sons, family, and friends play a huge role in my work, influencing not just my art but the way I see and interpret the world around me. They’ve stood by me on this journey, helping me bring colourful ideas to life and inspiring me daily to reach further. I invite you to explore my work, get to know the people who’ve helped shape it, and share in the stories woven into every piece.

Thank you for being here—welcome to my world!
